About Me

My name is Jaroslaw Kołątaj. I graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University in 1990. In the same year I attended the Summer School of Law at the University of Oslo. In subsequent years, I did post-graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley in marketing (1992), at the Kielce University of Technology in accounting (1998) and the University of Warsaw in finance and banking (2002).

I have been working in private sector in an area of business administration, accounting, finance and management, as well as the legal consulting in company law, contract law, restructuring and bankruptcy protection and debt collection since 1991. I gained experience working in a manufacturing company, trade and financial services, both within the family business and international corporations. I was responsible for the development of foreign markets, establishing and liquidating companies, I was a member of the company governing bodies. I learnt way of doing business in the Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. I worked with colleagues from most European countries. I speak English, German and Russian.

Jaroslaw Kołątaj Consulting provides consulting services in capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, obtaining of financing for business projects, capital and economic restructuring, corporate law, contract law, restructuring and insolvency law.

Services include legal and economic analysis of investment and restructuring projects, verification of the current economic, organizational and legal state of a business entity and financial projection of a business project.

Part of counseling is an assistance in acquiring of an investor interested in the investment project or an assistance in search for a project that meets the requirements of the inwestor.
